The Tuesday gals were nice to walk the road of contemplating contentment in a culture of comparison with Kay while she was writing I’m Happy For You (Sort of … not really). The study is a sampling effort to seek answers through Scripture on how to navigate comparison’s land mines. It, like the intimacy with God devotionals, is likely filled with grammatical mis-steps and typos – but if you’re willing to overlook such things, feel free to check it out.
These stories point us to the author of all stories and move us knowing Him in a deeper way. And by knowing Him, we can trust more and mover closer and closer to fully abiding. We’ll look at the story of Hannah, Samuel, Saul (crowned king after the Israelites cried and cried to the Lord for a king so they could be like everyone else), Jonathan and David.
