What a treat to be back together together as we read and had a rich discussion on chapter 11. All of which centered on the Gospel Kingdom at hand when Christ walked the earth as it is today, with the single purpose of being fixed on Christ – not on the things of this world. For God is always good, always loving, always giving, compassionate, merciful … inviting us to live in His un-ending strength, to fully embrace our days, even when they seem uncertain.
Then in Chapter 12, we spent a lot of time considering Jesus’ tender words on fear and faith and resting in God’s steadfast love, victory, power, grace, mercy, provision and protection. As well as our staying “dressed” for action in the royal garments of righteousness purchase & provided by Christ and keeping our “lamps burning” with eyes on God, fueled by His light in us.
